The Custom wedding is crafted using our most precious blooms grown on our micro-farms in Toronto + Bowmanville and from other Ontario Farmers Farmers with sustainable growing practices. We do not use imported botanicals.
We use creative sourcing to keep our waste low, including handpicking the ideal vintage and secondhand supplies. We think of innovative solutions to wasteful floristry and do not use floral foam.
Our ribbons are hand-dyed using plant materials instead of chemical dyes. Bleached and dyed flowers are never used in designs since they cannot be composted and the chemicals used are not healthy or safe.
Specialty Tailored Florals
The Sustainable Florist works with each couple to create a unique package tailored to them and their wedding venue. By only taking on a limited amount of The Custom weddings each season, we ensure every flower detail is elegantly attended to as well as environmentally and ethically responsible.
When wedding supplies are returned, the married couple receives a keepsake that was created with leftover flowers and foliage from their wedding. We reuse vases, boxes, ribbons, and boutonniere and corsage parts to give them a new purpose.
The Custom includes virtual consultations, inspiration boards and a design proposal. On the big day, we will deliver and set-up the florals, install any large-scale designs, and style any candles or additional decor. This full-service wedding package requires a minimum investment of $2,000, with a portion of the profit being donated to a local organization.

Please note: I am only able to take on on select weddings that reflect the cost and difficulty of my work with locally-grown and chemical-free botanicals in foam-free designs. I can not accommodate full-service weddings with a floral budget under $2,000 due to the cost of local, fair-trade flowers designed in sustainable mechanics.
